Nothing but the Blood

Some folks seem to be offended by singing about the blood and

want the hymns that sing about the Blood of Christ removed.

Hymns like ” Redeemed, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb and

“There is power in the blood”; “Alas and did my Savior bleed”,

” Saved by the blood of the crucified one”, ” When I see the blood”,

” My faith has found a resting place” and many others. Dear soul

if we remove the blood, we remove the Gospel. If we remove the blood

we remove our hope; if we remove the blood we remove the Savior.

We remove His love, His grace and His salvation. Without the shedding

of the blood of Jesus, we have no hope of salvation and no hope of

Heaven. Without the blood we have no remission of sin and no good

news for mankind. Jesus said, He was the only way into Heaven,

because of His finished work at Calvary. Dear friend let us hold fast

to the hymns that sing about the Blood of the Lamb of God.

Hand in Hand

Hand in hand with Jesus,

walking down life’s road,

sharing every burden,

sharing every load.

Hand in hand with Jesus,

passing life’s tests,

enjoying His fellowship,

being richly blessed.

Hand in hand with Jesus,

He will safely lead,

soothing every heartache,

meeting every need.

Hand in hand with Jesus,

through death’s door,

safely we will go,

to stand around God’s throne,

where no greater happiness,

will ever be known.

Favorite bible verses Psalm 31:1-3: In thee O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me In thy righteousness. Bow down thy ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defense to save me. For thou art my rock and fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me. Colossians 3:16: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

There are many trails we travel in life,

some bring happiness, others bring strife,

some have ups, some have downs,

some through swamps, some on smooth ground,

some in the rain, and some in the sun,

some at a slow pace, some on the run.

Some trails lead us into temptation,

while others lead us in the right direction.

Trails of this world are from birth to the grave;

the gospel trail leads to where we may be saved.

Dear ones, let us choose trails of happiness not strife,

let us take the trail to eternal life.

The trail Jesus trod before us,

leads us to our heavenly home.

Dear brother, dear sister, let us take the trail Jesus trod,

the trail that takes us into the presence of God.

BRIDGES Bridges were designed, to cross a divide, some may be narrow, others may be wide. Some are made of concrete, while others may be steel or wood; some lead to heartache, while others lead to good. Some cross valleys, others cross rivers and streams; others may lead to trouble, others may lead us, to fulfill our dreams. Bridges cross many divides, created by man, except the gap called sin, only the Cross of Jesus, this gulf can span. God, provides a bridge, Jesus, is His name; He can bridge the sin gap, when His salvation we claim. So if you want to get to heaven, there is only one way, that way is Jesus! trust in Him today. ~ Winston Staples

Because He Lives [ Adele Lathrop ]

Because He lives, I, too, shall live;

The same life quickens me

That held His spirit all secure

Above the death-bound tree.

Because He lives, I cannot die.

Death signifies no loss;

My soul shall know but spirit change

Because He knew the cross.

Because He lives, His cross transmutes

Death into life, for me;

And failure, fear, disease, and death,

Love crowns with victory.

Take time to enjoy each baby step,

we take as we travel this sod,

take time to smell the roses,

and communicate with God.

Take time to watch the twinkling stars,

and remember God loves you,

no matter where you are.

Take time each day to rest,

talk to Jesus, you will be blessed.

Take time to enjoy the sunshine,

and each drop of rain,

take time to count your blessings,

even while enduring pain.

Take time to listen,

to your brother and sister too!

Remember that is what Jesus would do.

Take time to thank God,

for the awesome things He has done,

especially for salvation,

through Jesus, His only Son.

Take time to enjoy each sound,

each sight and each fragrance too!

and be blessed, they where created for you!

Take time to be silent,

and pray every day,

never forgetting God loves you,

no matter what others may say.
