My Observations

EVO-WWI-064-01060 The other night, I was blessed to see a beautiful sight; across the road, sitting high on an old pine tree, I saw a Bald Eagle looking back at me. He was huge, with a hooked beak, and his white head feathers  were so beautiful I could hardly speak. As I viewed this great and beautiful bird, I noted some comparison with two spiritual beings. The talons and the hooked beak used to catch food reminded me of Satan and how he seeks to destroy the souls of man.  The beauty and its wide wing span so powerful and grand reminds me of God’s beautiful salvation plan and how He wants to renew fellowship with man and be his strength from day to day. Isaiah 40:28-31.

My Favorite Quotes

There is neither encouragement nor room in Bible religion for feeble desires, listless efforts, lazy attitudes; all must be strenuous, urgent, ardent. Flamed desires, impassioned, unwearied insistence delight heaven. God would have His children incorrigibly in earnest and persistently bold in their efforts. Heaven is too busy to listen to half-hearted prayers or to respond to pop-calls. Our whole being must be in our praying.  E.M. Bounds
