Psa. 149:4.—- The meek are made beautiful with salvation.
Isa. 29:19.— The meek shall increase their joy in the Lord!
Psalm 37:11— The meek shall inherit the earth and have an abundance of peace.
Isa.61:1— Good tidings of the gospel is to be preached to the meek.

Meekness continued:
1Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. When restoring the erring do so in meekness! 1 Peter 3:4 tells us that meekness is precious in the sight of God!
Servants for Christ should: [ a] 1 Tim.6:1– follow after meekness. [b] 2 Tim.2:24,25– instruct opposers in meekness. [c] Titus 3:1,2– urge on their people with meekness.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

Meekness continued: Zephaniah 2:3— All of God’s children should be seeking meekness!
Col.2:12-23— Being saved from our sin by the finished work of Jesus on the cross we are new creatures with new desires and are set apart to become like Jesus and one of those characteristics is meekness.

2To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
Meekness—- humbleness, tameness, extreme submission.
Christ set an example of meekness. Psalm 45:4; Isa.53:7; Matt.11:29; 21:5; 2 Cor.10:1; 1 Peter2:21-23. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. [ Isaiah 53:7 ]
