REDEEMED!

Redeemed or rescued from something. I love the hymn “Redeemed”! Redeemed, redeemed, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb; Redeemed, redeemed  and forever His child I am. In the next little while we are going to open the written word of God and look at some things recorded about being redeemed.1/ God’s word defines redemption or being rescued as: 1 Cor.6: 20; 1 Cor.7:23. 1 Cor.6:20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.  1 Cor 7:23Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men. We are bought or rescued from sin by God! 2/  We are redeemed or purchased by Christ [ the son of God]

Galatians 3:13

King James Version (KJV)

 13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:     Matthew 20:28Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.  3/We are redeemed by the blood of Christ!  Acts 20:28Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.  Hebrews 9:12Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 1 Peter 1:

18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Revelation 5:9And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;. Yes, God loves us so much that He sent His Son to redeem us!  Galatians 4:4But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,5To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.  [To be continued]
