Unity with Christ

I love the song, ” I ‘m just an old sinner saved by grace” but an old sinner saved by the grace of God becomes a Saint an as saints we have union with Christ by: 1/ In our mind— 1 Cor.2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ. Phil.2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
2/ in spirit— 1Cor.6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
3/ in love— Song of Sol. 2:16 My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth among the lilies. 7:10 I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.
4/ in suffering— Phil.3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 2Tim.2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
5/ in death— Romans 6:3-8 and Gal.2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
6/ in assurance— John 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
7/ in the Lord’s supper— 1 Cor.10:16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
8/ complete in Christ— Col.2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
9/ exhorted to maintain unity— John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. Acts 11:23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord. Col.2:7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
