Human Nature of Christ

Cross-and-TombIn the last few posts we have looked in the Scriptures and read many verses about the humanity of Christ. Today we conclude this study with a few more Bible verses about the humanity of Christ.

John 19:34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.  Christ bled as a human would!

Acts 3:15 and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

2 Timothy 2:Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel,  Even though He was man and died and was buried as a man, He was the Son of God and was given life again by His father!

Hebrews 726 For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;: 28 For the law appoints as high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law,appoints the Son who has been perfected forever.

Phil. 2:but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

1 John 3:And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.

1 Peter 2:22 “Who committed no sin,
Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;

Christ had all the likeness of man except He knew no sin; He bore the sins of all mankind and they can be free also from sin, if they call upon His name.
