Hi my friends, today let’s look at some more Scripture about the PROVIDENCE OF GOD.
King James Version (KJV)
14 In the morning therefore ye shall be brought according to your tribes: and it shall be, that the tribe which the Lord taketh shall come according to the families thereof; and the family which the Lord shall take shall come by households; and the household which the Lord shall take shall come man by man.
New International Version 33 The lot is cast into the lap,
but its every decision is from the Lord.
King James Version 26 And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
[ other references, 1 Sam.6:7-10; Isaiah 44:7 ] IN THESE VERSES WE SEE THE PROVIDENCE OF GOD IN HIS DIRECTION OF EVENTS!
Holman Christian Standard Bible 9 The windstorm comes from its chamber,
and the cold from the driving north winds.
10 Ice is formed by the breath of God,
and watery expanses are frozen.
11 He saturates clouds with moisture;
He scatters His lightning through them.
12 They swirl about,
turning round and round at His direction,
accomplishing everything He commands them
over the surface of the inhabited world.
13 He causes this to happen for punishment,
for His land, or for His faithful love.
Why was no one there when I came?
Why was there no one to answer when I called?
Is My hand too short to redeem?
Or do I have no power to deliver?
Look, I dry up the sea by My rebuke;
I turn the rivers into a wilderness;
their fish rot because of lack of water
and die of thirst.
Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
4 Life was in Him,[a]
and that life was the light of men.
15 (John testified concerning Him and exclaimed,
“This was the One of whom I said,
‘The One coming after me has surpassed me,
because He existed before me.’”)
WE SEE THE PROVIDENCE OF GOD IN THE RULING OF THE ELEMENTS!
Holman Christian Standard Bible 29 Aren’t two sparrows sold for a penny?[a] Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father’s consent.[b] 30 But even the hairs of your head have all been counted.
Holman Christian Standard Bible 18 but not a hair of your head will be lost.
King James Version 18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
GOD’S PROVIDENCE IS SEEN IN THE ORDERING OF MINUTEST MATTERS!
I lay here thinking,
words running through my mind,
how silent it would be,
in my mind,
if no words were around.
There would be no knowledge,
no wise words shared,
no one could say I love you,
and tell you they cared.
there would be no books,
and God’s word would not be read,
and we wouldn’t know,
the great things Jesus said.
The Bible states creation,
was by God’s word,
and in it,
we have the wisest words ever heard.
I know now,
what I am tryiny to say,
what we see around,
would not be here today.
Life’s race is like a marathon,
Run in years,
Instead of miles,
Some days bring heartaches,
And others bring smiles.
Some days the body is spry,
While others it pains,
And one wants to cry.
Some days are filled with sunshine,
And others filled with rain.
Each day is a challenge,
And a race to be run,
From day break,
To the setting of the sun.
In our spiritual life,
Life’s race is to be run,
Either following Satan,
Or God’s only Son.
Satan races us toward destruction;
Jesus leads us to Heaven,
Eternal life for everyone.
So let us run with Jesus,
Over life’s rocky track,
Looking toward the finish line,
And never looking back.
When life’s race is over,
Heaven will be our prize,
A land without sorrow,
And cloudy skies.

It snowed and the wind blew hard all night and is still blowing hard, but the snow has stopped and the sun is now shining brightly on me as I write these few words. My son – in – law drives a big snow plow and this morning he got stuck in a six foot snow drift; this reminds me about the storms we have on our life’s road, that we get stuck sometimes and need haled out to freedom. Everyone in born into the big snow drift of sin and we need haled out to have fellowship with God, our creator, again. That is why we need the hands of Jesus that will lift us out and plant our feet on the solid ground of His word and be steadfast again. God sends His Spirit to guide us and show us those snow drifts of life so we won’t get mired again!

Oh, sweet spring,
how bad I miss thee,
and want so badly,
the green grass to see,
but the way it is snowing,
coming down steadily,
it will be a while,
before I see the bumble bee.
Hasten sweet spring,
so I can hear,
your song birds sing!
The air was crisp and still,
I saw on the horizon,
Three trees standing on a hill.
The two trees on the sides,
Were shorter than the center one;
How they stood out,
In the rising sun.
A refuge for the birds,
In the time of storms,
A nesting place,
So peaceful and warm.
Seeing these trees,
So majestic standing in a row,
Took my mind back,
Two thousand years or so,
To a place called Calvary,
Where three wooden crosses,
Stood out plainly in a row.
On the outside crosses,
Hung two guilty thieves,
On the center cross,
Hung the only Son of God;
He was dying for you and me.
Jesus, was bearing our sins,
So we could be set free.

From Death to Life
2 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins 2 in which you previously walked according to the ways of this world, according to the ruler who exercises authority over the lower heavens,[a] the spirit now working in the disobedient.[b] 3 We too all previously lived among them in our fleshly desires, carrying out the inclinations of our flesh and thoughts, and we were by nature children under wrath as the others were also.4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us,[c] 5 made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!6 Together with Christ Jesus He also raised us up and seated us in the heavens, 7 so that in the coming ages He might display the immeasurable riches of His grace through His kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For you are saved by gracethrough faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift—9 not from works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.
Unity in Christ
11 So then, remember that at one time you were Gentiles in the flesh—called “the uncircumcised” by those called “the circumcised,” which is done in the flesh by human hands. 12 At that time you were without the Messiah, excluded from the citizenship of Israel, and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus, you who were far away have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah. 14 For He is our peace, who made both groups one and tore down the dividing wall of hostility. In His flesh, 15 He made of no effect the law consisting of commands and expressed in regulations, so that He might create in Himself one new man from the two, resulting in peace. 16 He did this so that He might reconcile both to God in one body through the cross and put the hostility to death by it.[d] 17 When the Messiah came, He proclaimed the good news of peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. 19 So then you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God’s household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone. 21 The whole building, being put together by Him, grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord.22 You also are being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit.
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
