We are going to look at some more Scripture verses about the Promises of God starting with a/ Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
b/ James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
c/ Psalms 89:3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,4 Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah. Hebrews 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
d/ Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
e/ Psalms 105:42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant. Luke 1:54 He hath helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;55 As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.
Summary: God’s promises are: a/ Those He calls. b/ Those who love Him. c/ those confirmed by an oath. d/ God is faithful to His promises. e/ He remembers His promises.
