words are special,
powerful indeed,
they can sooth a broken heart,
when positive words we feed.
Words spoken wisely,
help heal broken souls;
words guide our foot steps,
as we walk toward our goals.
Words spoken carelessly.
wound innocent hearts;
once spoken,
cannot be retrieved;
We may say we are sorry,
but forgiveness is hard to receive.
Think before we speak,
this our motto be,
use words to lift others up,
giving them dignity.

Salvation [ Part 3 ]

Today we continue to have another glimpse into God’s word to see some more things it says about Salvation.

Gen.3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. God announces satan will be defeated and there is a plan of salvation.

Isaiah 35:4

King James Version (KJV)

4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. Isa.45:17 But Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end. Zech.9:16 And the Lord their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land. Romans 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: SALVATION for Israel predicted!

Isa.45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.  49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. Isa.52:10 The Lord hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. — SALVATION of the Gentiles predicted!

Eph.1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, — 2 Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: — SALVATION is revealed in the gospel.

Monday we looked into God’s word at a few verses about Salvation, today we will search a few more. Are you ready?

1 Timothy 2:1-4

King James Version (KJV)

2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.  [ note, verses 3&4! God is willing to give mankind salvation ]

Isaiah 45:21-22

King James Version (KJV)

21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the Lord? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.

22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

Isaiah 59:16

King James Version (KJV)

16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.

Acts 4:12

King James Version (KJV)

12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Salvation is the greatest gift God offers to sinful mankind, because of His love, His mercy and His grace. Today I want to start sharing some Bible verses about the SALVATION.

Psalms 3:8 Salvation belongs to the Lord.
Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah                                                                                        37:38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together;The future of the wicked shall be cut off.

39 But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;
He is their strength in the time of trouble.

Jer.3:23 Truly, in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills,
And from the multitude of mountains;
Truly, in the Lord our God
Is the salvation of Israel.   [ SALVATION IS OF GOD! ]

2 Timothy 1:9-10

New King James Version (NKJV)

9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, 10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,

SALVATION IS APPOINTED BY GOD!    1Thess.5:9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

It was an October Sunday morn,

The deer walk silently through the corn,

As a soft breeze,

rustles the corn stalks,

that hide the mice,

from the piercing eyes,

and talons of the soaring hawks.

In the distance,

a church bell rings,

calling through the crisp air,

come learn about the KIng of Kings.

Jesus is His name,

and through no other,

can salvation be claimed!

So come worship the King,

read His word,

and His praises sing!

big bear

Is your attitude a thankful one?

or do you grumble and complain?

Is your attitude a serving one?

or when asked to serve,

you pass to another’s name.

Is your attitude a loving one?

or is self first in life’s game?

Is your attitude a prayerful one?

do you seldom call upon God’s name?

Is your attitude one of sharing?

or do you show very little caring?

These negative attitudes,

are not God’s plan,

they are the attitudes of selfish man

800-thanksgiving2 Good morning and welcome to a time of sharing more Scriptures about thanksgiving!

Ephesians 5:17-20

King James Version

17Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

19Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

20Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

18In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

We should be thankful in all things and for all things because of Chist!

It is a cool October morn,

The rain falls softly,

Softly upon the corn,

The maple’s multi-colored leaves,

Have about all hit the ground,

But in this October rain,

So much beauty still is found.

October rains wash the leaves,

Brighten the colors,

That still remain,

Yes, I love the fragrance,

The fragrance of October rain.

Hi, What a beautiful morning, the sun is just beginning to rise over the horizon and light up this beautiful blue sky and the birds are singing thank you to their creator. O what a beautiful morning, o, what a beautiful day! Thank you Father! Psalms 50:14.14Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: We should be thankful for our relationship with Christ because of God’s grace. Col.3:17–17And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.  Hebrews 13:15—15By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.  [ to be continued, my friends ]
