I love the sound, of the morning dove,
when he calls his mate in love;
I love the sound, of the distant loon,
as he sings his mournful tune;
I love the sound, of the gentle breeze,
as it moves and rustles the leaves;
I love the sound, of the falling rain,
as it strikes against the window pane;
I love the sound, of the babbling brook’
as I sit and dangle my hook;
I love the sound, of the lullaby,
as the mother soothes her child’s cry.
I love the sound, all creation gives,
and shouts the news, our creator lives;
I love the sound, of God’s Holy word,
and the great message it gives to be heard,
salvation and great hope for the lost,
comes from God at great cost.
If this great truth they believe,
eternal life they shall receive.
There is a sound, I am waiting for,
the sound of a great shout,
and a trumpets blare,
when the Saints will meet,
Christ in the air;
We will be ushered to Heaven above,
because of His amazing grace and eternal love.

poem [ Little Vessels ]

Wint68's Blog

We are little vessels, created by God’s hand, put here a little while, to walk in this land. We are little vessels, broken and marred by sin, God knows our every weakness, He wants to mold us from within. We are little vessels, who need saved from sin, by submitting to God our potter, salvation will begin. We are little vessels, saved from sin and shame, Jesus gives us victory, because He lives again. We are little vessels, being molded by His Spirit, because of His love and grace, and not by our merit. We are little vessels, being shaped as He would have us be, perfect in His sight, when the face of Jesus we see.

Salvation [ Part 7 ]

Today lets look at some more Bible verses about Salvation.

Psalm 6:4

King James Version (KJV)

4 Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.

Titus 3:5 (KJV 1900)

5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; SALVATION BECAUSE GOD IS MERCIFUL!

2 Peter 3:15 (KJV 1900)

15 And account that the long suffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;   OUR GOD IS LONG SUFFERING AND WANTS ALL TO BE SAVED!

Acts 16:31 (KJV 1900)

31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

1 Peter 1:5 (KJV 1900)

5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. SALVATION IS THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST!

God is Near [ by Winston Staples ]

What a comfort to know that God is always near!

Wint68's Blog

God is near, as I walk in the forest green, and when I sit by waters clear, and I sense His presence, when I view the white tailed deer. I enjoy His presence in the morning still, while walking through a beautiful garden, seeing the lily and the golden daffodil. I know He is with me, while I am walking in a deep valley, or climbing very steep hills. I feel His warmth in the sunshine, and His freshness in the rain, and His gracious hand of mercy, while I am living with my pain. I feel God’s presence, when I read His Holy Word, there He reveals His story, the greatest love story ever heard. When I awake in the morning, I have nothing to fear, I praise God and give thanks, that my Lord is near.~ Winston Staples

Words [ by Winston Staples ]

be careful little tongue!

Wint68's Blog

Words are special, powerful indeed, they can sooth a broken heart, when positive words we feed. Words spoken wisely, help heal broken souls; words guide our foot steps, as we walk toward our goals. Words spoken carelessly, wound innocent hearts; once spoken can not be retrieved, we may say we are sorry, but forgiveness is hard to receive. Think before we speak, let this our motto be, use words to lift others up, giving them dignity.

Gifts [ by Winston Staples ]

Wint68's Blog

Some gifts are large, some gifts are small, but it’s the thought that counts after all. Gifts like a diamond ring, or a new bow tie, may bring a joyful tear or a little sigh. Dear friend, let’s give gifts, that money can not buy, like love, joy, mercy, peace, hope, forgiveness and grace. These are given by God’s Holy Spirit; because of His grace and not our merit; so let’s pass them on,so others can share, showing others that we really care, and let each of us not forget, that greatest gift of all, Christ’s gift of salvation, when upon His name we call.

December Thoughts

The night was long,

the stars were bright,

the moon light,

illuminated the snow,

snow covered trees,

what a beautiful sight.

It is morning,

the ground is hard,

the snow flutters softly down,

and falls gently,

so gently on my yard.

I love December,

I love it’s sights and sounds,

as Christmas carols play,

and good wishes abound.
