Justified by Faith!

The following verses tell us that we are justified by faith in Christ:

John 5:Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Note the words hearing and believing that is faith!

Acts 13:39And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Romans 3:30Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

Romans 5:1Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Galatians 2:16Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ…

big-bear.jpg   When I was young, it seems like yesterday; I could run and play, twenty-four hours a day. I would run in the sunshine and play in the rain; I would never have a headache, or feel any pain. Fifty years have quickly passed, and there is no playing in the rain, and that young body now gets around, leaning on a cane. I do not fret or stew, for each day I get closer, closer to heaven and eternity with you.

God loves beauty,

To me that is clear,

He created the beautiful sunsets,

For you and me to see.

He made the beautiful starry skies,

So far away,

But sometimes, look so near,

Twinkling at you and me.

Yes, God made beautiful things,

Things beautiful for you and me.

O, He gave us the beautiful sky,

And as I look over the hills,

A beautiful eagle soars so high,

What beautiful feathered friends

He gave us to see;

God loves beauty,

That’s plain to see,

He created for you and me.

Romans 8:28-39New International Version (NIV)

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?36 As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[b]

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[c] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

A January Day

The day has seen some snow,

The temperature is a minus twenty below,

Now the sky is clear,

And the sun is going down

Over the ridge so near.

The sun shining through the hardwoods,

Bringing back so many memories,

Back when I was young,

And in my prime;

I would visit my friends,

And come home

With the setting sun,

It was supper time.

As I look  at the sky

The sun is sinking low,

O, how beautiful   are the trees,

With their new coat of snow.

God is the Maser Painter,

And gives these sights,

As blessings,

To you and to me.

Yes, God cares!

Sometimes in all our trials and storms of life, we forget that God is still near and wants to hear about our hurts and bruises of our spirit and wants us to ask Him to help guide us  to the haven of rest. Yes, God still cares! Let’s open our Bibles to Isaiah 40:27-31. Note in verse 27 that He see our every need.  27Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God? NOTHING IS HID FROM GOD! [ Psalm 139 ]

I know He cares because he sends trials my way to mold me and allow me to grow in Christian character. [ To be more like Jesus each day until we see Him and we will be like Him ]

1Peter 1:

6Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season…

My Observations:

As Jesus hung dying on that cross, He taught us lessons: [ Luke 23:26-49 ]

Verses 26- 31   While carrying His cross we see His concern for others.

Verse 34    We see His forgiveness toward others and we see this in His prayer that His Father would forgive them also.

verse 35-37    The lesson of yield not to temptation was taught as the crowds and soldiers  taunted  Him.

verses 41-43   we see one thief realize the truth and Jesus rewarded him with being with Him in paradise.

Jesus taught us as He was dying:  to have concern for others, show love and compassion toward others, to forgive others, it is not to late to ask for salvation and Jesus will forgive and save you.

A Favorite Psalms!

I have many Psalms I like but this one stands out as my favorite!

Psalm 121 King James Version (KJV)

121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

I trust you enjoy the message and comfort we can attain from the words of this writting!

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this…

Psalm 77 King James Version (KJV)

77 I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.

In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.

I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.

Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?

Hath God forgotten to…

This old world needs people to walk upright to save it!

I was thinking about God and His uprightness. What are some things the Bible says about this thing called being right? In the next few posts we are going to look at some Bible verses about uprightness, so let’s open the pages that tell the truth and learn about being right with God and man.

Isa.26:The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just. God the creator is upright!

1 Chron. 29:17 I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.  God takes pleasure in uprightness!

Ecc.7:29 Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made…
