O, What a Day!

The day is rainy,

the day is gray,

but still a wonderful day

for the last week,

wonderful week of May.

The greens are so beautiful,

the yellow flowers so fair,

O, what a great creation,

created by God out there.

BLESSINGS!

May is half gone,

time passes quickly bye,

the sun is warmer

and brings out,

many types of fly.

The green leaves,

appear bigger on the limbs,

and in the ponds,

fish and poly-wogs swim,

In the trees

birds sing spring songs,

as they enjoy,

a soft gentle breeze.

I see all,

wonders nature brings,

and I say thank you,

thank you to God,

the creator of all

these special,                                                                                                                                                                                    beautiful things.

Now I think about,

the greatest gift,

God has given me,

and that is salvation,

salvation from my sin,

through Jesus’s sacrifice,

shedding His blood,

at a place called Calvary.

LIFE ‘S LESSONS

book-old-books-open-school_3205826

The day is foggy,

the day is rainy,

the birds are nestled

in the evergreens,

waiting for the sun,

to come out,

from behind the clouds.

They will seek food,

from the bushes,

they will seek food,

from the moist ground.

The Bible tells us,

not to worry

about tomorrow,

He feeds the little birds

and big ones too!

He feeds the bees,

He gives life to the flowers;

He gives life to the trees,

He tells us to watch,

He tells us to learn

from the nature about.

He will provide our needs

if we have faith,

and do not doubt.

Y es, God is near.

Yes, God is good,

so, let us seek His truth

and live like we should.

Evening Shadows

EVENING SHADOWS
Evening shades,
are beginning to fall,
as the sun sets
in the west,
it has been a great day
God has blessed,
yes, blessed us all.
The sky is clear,
the frogs croak
in the pond,
I have not heard,
their voices,
since last fall.

Snug as a Bug

letter_writing

Today in the pine trees, I watched as a pair of doves were sheltered from the cool winds blowing from the north; a bit further on the ridge was a doe and her twins lying in the shelter of a large log. Shelter is a great comfort to one caught in the storms of life caused mostly from errors of judgement on our part starting as far back as in the garden of Eden. God has had an invitation since that day for us to return unto the shelter of His loving arms. I love this song by this artist.
