Spiritual Blindness

In life so many things pass quickly by, as we travel at in a fast pace world, not seeing all the great things, like beautiful sunsets and sunrises and so many more sights; we become blind to what is around us. We started the other day looking at what the Bible says about ” spiritual blindness”,today we are going to open the good book and look at some more verses about ” spiritual blindness”. In the previous writing we learned that this blindness is: We are blind spiritually until we hear God’s word; We are spiritually blind because of our sin; We are spiritually blind because of unbelief.

2 Corinthians 4:4English Standard Version (ESV)

In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.  The god of…

Spiritual Sight Renewed

When I was young and able to work, one night while working under a truck something dripped and dropped into my eyes, this caused blindness for about two weeks. The same things happen spiritually, things happen and cause us to become blind to the good things of  God. How can we see again the truth’s of God? Below are a few Scripture verses about this matter: Isaiah 42:He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep…

Someone’s Calling

Hi! Today opens the moose season here and there is a lot of hunters looking for a moose, so there is a lot of calling for a moose to answer. The last blog,  we  looked what the Bible said about the call of God, today we will continue.

Isaiah 45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

God’s call is for all mankind to be saved but sad to say this does not happen because all men do not listen to the call of God. Matt.20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. Proverbs 1:24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel…

Salvation is the greatest gift God offers to sinful mankind, because of His love, His mercy and His grace. Today I want to start sharing some Bible verses about the SALVATION.

Psalms 3:8 Salvation belongs to the Lord.
Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah                                                                                        37:38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off.

39 But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;
He is their strength in the time of trouble.

Jer.3:23 Truly, in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills,
And from the multitude of mountains;
Truly, in the Lord our God
Is the salvation of Israel.   [ SALVATION IS OF GOD! ]

The Stream

There is a crooked stream,
running quiet and still,
just half a mile,
over that hill.
One day last fall,
there was a big rain,
that old stream was raging,
a rage no man could tame.
It roared and rushed,
took houses and land,
where ever it went,
it obeyed no command.
Sometimes our life,
is like that stream,
all peaceful and calm,
then comes trials,
that explode like a bomb.
We have a place,
where we can go,
to our Heavenly Father,
who by His loving hand,
soothes and calms,
that raging stream,
with one command,
it obeys His will,
as He speaks,
Peace be still.

Fall Walk

Fall, my favorite time of the year!

Today I decided to take a walk,

and see if a partridge,

I could spot.

I grabbed the old twenty gauge,

and a handful of bird shot.

I walked slowly,

you might say crept,

there was a crash,

there was a bounce,

I almost got run over,

run over by a female deer.

There was a snort,

and another deer ran,

I wished I had,

a camera in my hand.

I looked above,

as I heard this sound,

of the wild goose call,

O, how I love the sounds,

and sights of fall.
