Just Thinking!

cropped-image-3.pngIt was early, I was up, because I couldn’t sleep; I put on my boots, and out the door I did creep. I slowly walked out the old woods trail, and as I peeked through the trees, I saw twelve eyes looking back at me. They were the eyes of six white tailed deer, trying to get a better view and wondering what I was up too! Then I remembered, that we are always being watched, by God’s watchful eye, as our days on earth pass so quickly by. So let us keep our eyes open, and watch each step we take, and with our hand in His; He will lead us through Heaven’s pearly gates.

JUST THINKING!

In a place ,

called years ago,

about sixty or so,

I was fifteen.

I would run home,

late at night,

from my friends home.

I would sing,

sing along my way,

my favorite,

” How Great Thou Art.”

This old hymn,

sang so well,

by George Bev. Shea.

When seventeen,

I said yes,

when Jesus invited,

me in to His family.

Each day, I now sing,

“Just a Closer Walk with Thee.”

There is no better,

no better place to be.

THAT OLD PINE TREE!

I am thinking today,
about that old pine tree,
where I spent a lot of time,
resting with my dog Max,
a great pal of mine.
That old pine tree,
was our resting spot,
We would sit,
under it’s branches,
looking upward,
thanking God,
for the things we had,
and what we’d got.
Max is gone,
and so is that old tree,
but they still exist,
in my memories.

Walking With God

imagesCAPF2HH1

Psalm 23 King James Version

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

EASTER!

th (9)

Easter is not about,

Easter bunnies,

or about Easter eggs,

but instead it is about,

God’s love,

God’s grace,

sending His SON,

giving His blood,

suffering thorns,

on His head,

dying on the CROSS.

H e gave His LIFE,

for you and me.

What amazing love,

What amazing grace,

taking our sins,

giving us SALVATION,

peace in our hearts,

and JOY on our face.

Day by Day!

Day by day, I think about Jesus, about what He has done for me, how he came to earth, to bare my sins on Calvary’s tree. Day by day, I think about Jesus, who in heaven, our home prepares, because of His love and grace, many people will live up there. Day by day, I think about Jesus, victory over Satan did win, and because of that victory, we can be saved from sin. Day by day, I think about Jesus, how He is the Lord of Lords, and King of Kings, and as His children, His praises we should forever sing. Day by day, I think about Jesus, how He came to set me free, Oh! how much I love Him, because He first loved me. Day by day, I think about Jesus, and all He has done for me, then, I want to serve Him faithfully. Day by day, I think about Jesus, Oh! what He means to me, He is my hope, joy and liberty. Day by day, I think about Jesus, Oh! what he can do for you, Jesus wants to save your soul, then day by day, you can think, about Jesus too! —– Winston staples —–

Psalm 121 King James Version

121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
