I am thinking today,
about that old pine tree,
where I spent a lot of time,
resting with my dog Max,
a great pal of mine.
That old pine tree,
was our resting spot,
We would sit,
under it’s branches,
looking upward,
thanking God,
for the things we had,
and what we’d got.
Max is gone,
and so is that old tree,
but they still exist,
in my memories.

I am married, have four lovely children and five grandchildren. I love gospel music and to write poetry as a hobby. I love animals such as dogs, and white tailed deer. I love good clean humor.
