It's a dull day, in mid spring, a cool wind, blows in the aspens, where the robins sing. It's a cloudy day, in mid spring, there is no ice, on the ponds, where soon, the frogs will sing. It's a cool Sunday, not many folk, are out and about, so little faith, so much doubt. Cheer-up, cheer-up, the red breasted, robin sings; God is with us, so let's lift, our voices high, and sing, praises daily, to the Lord of Lords, and King of Kings. ~ Winston Staples

TO SLEEP!
Now I lay down to sleep,
Listening to hymns,
Soothing and sweet.
Now I lay down to sleep,
Trusting God my soul to keep;
Now I lay down to sleep,
Thinking of Jesus’s love so deep.
Now I lay down to sleep
Thanking Him for today
And protection in the night,
In Him all things complete.
Now I lay down to sleep,
Meditating on His word,
A refuge from the devil,
As into my life,
he tries to creep;
Now I lay down to sleep,
Talking to Jesus,
And not counting sheep.
Evening Shadows
EVENING SHADOWS
Evening shades,
are beginning to fall,
as the sun sets
in the west,
it has been a great day
God has blessed,
yes, blessed us all.
The sky is clear,
the frogs croak
in the pond,
I have not heard,
their voices,
since last fall.
LIFE ‘S LESSONS
The day is foggy,
the day is rainy,
the birds are nestled
in the evergreens,
waiting for the sun,
to come out,
from behind the clouds.
They will seek food,
from the bushes,
they will seek food,
from the moist ground.
The Bible tells us,
not to worry
about tomorrow,
He feeds the little birds
and big ones too!
He feeds the bees,
He gives life to the flowers;
He gives life to the trees,
He tells us to watch,
He tells us to learn
from the nature about.
He will provide our needs
if we have faith,
and do not doubt.
Y es, God is near.
Yes, God is good,
so, let us seek His truth
and live like we should.
BLESSINGS!
May is half gone,
time passes quickly bye,
the sun is warmer
and brings out,
many types of fly.
The green leaves,
appear bigger on the limbs,
and in the ponds,
fish and poly-wogs swim,
In the trees
birds sing spring songs,
as they enjoy,
a soft gentle breeze.
I see all,
wonders nature brings,
and I say thank you,
thank you to God,
the creator of all
these special, …

JUST THINKING!
Since the day, I was born, I have had many trials, which I had someone, seeing me through, GOD WAS THERE. The time the tree, kicked me sideways, landing on rail fence, breaking my ribs, GOD WAS THERE. The time my foot slipped, while carrying a log, up the river bank, laying me up six weeks, GOD WAS THERE. Many more times, through injuries, through surgeries, I was never alone, GOD WAS THERE. No matter where I go, no matter what I do, GOD IS THERE, to see me through, GOD IS THERE. Here is a song, sang so well, by my friend, Lynda Randle. Trust you will be blessed.
JUST THINKING!
T'was a cold night, now the sun, shines so bright, a new day begun. The robins, begin to sing, there's a chill, in the air, still it's spring. God, I thank Thee, for the sounds, I hear; I thank Thee, for the things, I see, I know, Thou art near. ~ Winston Staples
EVERYWHERE!
I looked up,
Up through the clouds,
And seemed to hear,
Child, I am everywhere,
So, worship the Lord,
All ye people.
I looked across,
The lonely hills,
And seemed to hear,
Cheer up child,
I am everywhere,
So, worship the Lord,
All ye people.
I looked back,
And seemed to hear,
Child, I am here too!
So, worship the Lord,
All ye people.
I looked down, up,
Across and everywhere,
And seemed to hear,
Child, I am everywhere,
And always loved you,
So, worship the Lord,
All ye people.
