It's a dull day,
in mid spring,
a cool wind,
blows in the aspens,
where the robins sing.

It's a cloudy day,
in mid spring,
there is no ice,
on the ponds,
where soon,
the frogs will sing.

It's a cool Sunday,
not many folk,
are out and about,
so little faith,
so much doubt.

Cheer-up, cheer-up,
the red breasted,
robin sings;
God is with us,
so let's lift,
our voices high,
and sing,
praises daily,
to the Lord of Lords,
and King of Kings.
