EXPLORING GOD’S WORD [15]

Today we are exploring THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN!

Open your Bible to the following Scripture passages and underline or circle the key words.

I will use brackets to mark a few things that stand out to me.

Isaiah 24:23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, [when the Lord of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.]

Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up [a kingdom,] [which shall never be destroyed:] and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it [shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.]

Matthew 3:And saying, [Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.]

Matthew 6: After this manner therefore [pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.]

10[ Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.]

33 But [seek ye first the kingdom of God,] and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Mark 10: 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, [Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.]

15 Verily I say unto you, [Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.]

23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, [How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!]

24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, [Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!]

25 [It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.]

Luke 9: 61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.62 And Jesus said unto him, [No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.] 12:31 But rather [seek ye the kingdom of God]; and all these things shall be added unto you.  17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, [The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:]21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, [the kingdom of God is within you.]
