a/ Derived from gift of: 1/ GOD—- Acts 11:18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified [God], saying, Then hath [God] also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
2/ CHRIST—- Acts 5:31 Him hath God [exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour], for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
3/HOLY SPIRIT—- Zech.12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, [the spirit of grace and of supplications]: and they shall look [upon me whom they have pierced], and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

I awoke this morning,
put my feet on the floor,
my head was aching,
and my throat was sore.
I said thank you,
to my Creator,
for this day,
because I could,
read His word,
and for my needs,
and others could pray.
So, no matter what state,
no matter the place,
You can call HIm;
His line is not busy,
He hears our prayer;
He may answer instantly,
and sometimes you must wait!

TOPIC: Repentance. [ to turn around, 180 degree turn a round ] To turn from the darkness of sin to the light of an eternal God.
*To turn—– Acts 9:35 And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.
*To repent—– Acts 8:22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
*To return—– 1 Samuel 7:3 And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the Lord with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the Lord, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.
*To convert—– Acts 15:3 And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.
KINDS OF REPENTANCE:
*Natural—– Joel 3: 5 Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:
6 The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.
7 Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:
8 And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the Lord hath spoken it.
*Internal—– Ps.51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
