EXPLORING GOD’S WORD 69!

Preparation: Read 2 Thess.2

Lesson 1. As believers [ sinners saved by God’s grace ] we are to stand firm by the renewing of our minds by God’s word. In the next few weeks we are going to look at some Bible verses on this subject. I trust you will be blessed and encouraged.

a/ We see this in God’s purposes and and ways.  The Bible states this in the following verses.  Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?  Daniel 6:26 I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.  James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

James 1:But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.
