Today we are looking at more Scripture verses about who receives blessing from God: The first verse we turn in our Bibles too is: *Proverbs 28:20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent. [Yes, God tells us that a faithful person will be blessed!]

*On the Sermon on the mount Jesus said as recorded in Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit. 3/ Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

*We read in Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

*Those who show mercy shall be blessed! Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

*Likewise those who mourn will be blessed as seen in Matthew 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. and Luke 6:21 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.

*Blessed are those who make peace! Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

*Blessed are the bountiful! Psalms 41:Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.  Proverbs 22:9 He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor. Luke 14:13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:
14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
