A FAVORITE PSALM!

Psalm 145King James Version

145 I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.

And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.

They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.

The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

10 All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.

11 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;

12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.

13 Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

14 The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.

15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.

16 Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

18 The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

20 The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

JUST THINKING!

Reading God’s word brings comfort to my soul!

As I look over the hill,

the fog is settling in,

much like the day,

Satan caused mankind to sin.

I walked in the fog,

the fog called sin,

for sixteen years,

then one night a light shone,

the light of God’s word,

began to light up my heart,

and the Holy Spirit convicted me,

yes, pointed out my sin.

God’s word says,

only one way to Heaven,

and only one way to HIM;

that is through the shed blood,

as Jesus hung on Calvary’s tree,

providing redemption for me.

So, I cried,

Oh, Jesus I am a sinner,

please give salvation to me,

and a place in Heaven,

with the Saints before me.

Heavenly Diamonds

The sun is going down,

soon the stars will appear,

sparkling like diamonds,

so bright and clear.

So many not counted,

O, what beauty

for my eyes to behold,

now they sparkle more brightly,

on this night so cold.

On and on they go,

further than man

and machine can see,

in this sky of diamonds;

O, what a beautiful creation

God has given you and me!

HEAVEN!

In a previous blog, we looked at some Bible verses that told us the things that won’t plague us in Heaven; today in this blog let us see what the Bible tells us about what will be there.

Luke 15: 7,10—I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

Heaven shall be a place of joy!

Rev.14:13—And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

There shall be rest in Heaven!

Luke 16:25— But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

One will be comforted there!

2 Peter 3:13— Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Righteousness will be there!Rev.7:15— Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

There will be service unto God there!

Matt.5:11-12—Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Heaven is a place of rewards!1 Peter 1:4—To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Our inheritance is waiting there!

Romans 8:17-18—And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Glory will be there!
