PRAISE WORTHY!!

Hi! Today we are looking at a few more reasons God is worthy of praise according to the Scriptures:

1 Chronicles 16:25

King James Version (KJV) 25For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.

Psalm 145:3

King James Version (KJV) 3Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.  WE PRAISE HIM FOR HIS GREATNESS!       Psalms 21:13Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.  WE PRAISE HIM FOR HIS POWER!    Isaiah 25:1O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.  WE CAN PRAISE HIM BECAUSE OF HIS FAITHFULNESS AN TRUTH!

OUR FOCUS!

Hi my dear friends, do you or am I holding on to something in our life that we should let go, something that is hindering our walk with the Master? 1 Cor.5:7-8 and Hebrews 12:1-2 tell us that we should be putting away all sin and 1 Thess.5:22 that we should avoid anything that has the appearance of evil. So  let us focus on our relationship with Jesus and keep our eyes on Him and not be distracted by Satan’s side shows.  Have a great day walking in His steps!

Gal. 5:25If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

26Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

As believers in Christ, we His children have the Holy Spirit dwelling with in us, and we should be listening to His leading each day and walk according to that leading.  Romans 8:1-2 tell us to walk after the Spirit ; Romans 6:4,13 walk in the newness of life and Ephesians 5: 8-9 we should be walking or living as the children of light. So let each of us walk or live as Jesus did!

Walking like Christ

Hi Friends, we read in 1 Peter 2:21-24. 21For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

22Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

23Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

24Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Note. Verse 21— Christ set us an example, that we should follow His steps, steps unto righteousness or doing what is right as recorded in verse 24.

Titus 2: 11For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

12Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

THE HUNT

Wint68

It’s late October, the big bucks are on the run;

they have the scent of doe, the rut has begun.

It’s very early in the morn,

the frost still lies heavy on the corn.

My heart is quickly beating, the bow season has finally come;

I have packed all my gear, my planning complete,

now I carefully walk to my tree stand and take my seat.

I have did all I can to cover my scent,

now to patiently wait until my bow can be bent.

Our hunt for this worthy prize, happens once a year,

we are also a foe, who are daily stalked and hunted,

like that trophy white tailed deer.

While walking down life’s trail,

our adversary, the devil lies in wait,

he uses every deception, every lie,

to keep us from entering God’s Heavenly gate.

Dear friend, let us give God our lives,

so His armor…

ADOPTED!

The Bible tells us that when we have faith and call upon the name of Jesus for His gift of salvation He adopts us into the Family of God.

Romans 8:15

  15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.  Romans 8:23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.  Eph.1:5Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,  Gal. 4:5To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.  Romans 8:

14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.  When we call upon the name of the Lord we are adopted into the greatest family of all, the family of God!
