MORE ABOUT JESUS

MORE ABOUT JESUS
More about Jesus: Zec.9:9; John 5:30; Acts 22:14.

Acts 22:14And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth. These verses of Scripture tell us that Christ was just in character.
I saiah 53:9; 1 Peter 2:22. State He was guileless! Isa.53:9And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

We read in John 8:46 and 2 Cor.5:21 that our Savior was without sin! [ perfect ].

2 Cor.5:21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
1 Peter 1:19 describes Jesus as being spotless [ pure ]. 1 Peter 1:19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Isaiah 53:4-7 says He was innocent and took our sin debt upon Himself and bore our punishment for us and giving us freedom. Isaiah 53:4Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

6All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

7He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

The lamb is a picture of innocence!
