Our study continues by turning to the Psalms: 1/ Psalm 91:4 King James Version 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. and under his wings you ·can hide[will find refuge; Deut. 32:11; Is. 31:5; Matt. 23:37; Luke 13:34].
His ·truth [faithfulness] will be your shield and ·protection [buckler;C a small shield]. GOD’S PROVIDENCE IS SEEN BY HIS PROTECTION OF THE SAINTS.
2/ Psalms 91: 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.Isaiah 31:5
King James Version5 As birds flying, so will the Lord of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it.
3/ Deut.8:2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. ( KJV.)
