Psalm 150 King James Version (KJV)

150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.

Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

Psalm 23

A Psalm of David.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Psalm 121

A Song of degrees.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills,
from whence cometh…

A Stormy Day!

70 PLUS WINT!

I am sitting in front of my old computer looking at a snowy day; a great day to share some of my favorite Bible verses. Here are a few: a/

Psalm 121King James Version

121I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2My help cometh from theLord, which made heaven and earth.

3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

4Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

5TheLordis thy keeper: theLordis thy shade upon thy right hand.

6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

Philippians 4;6-10

6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep…

WALKING LIFE’S ROAD!

70 PLUS WINT!

download (1)

As I walk along this road;

I grow weary from it’s load,

I see hardships,

and I feel stress,

I see sin and the worldly mess,

because of their love of gold.

As I walk along life’s road,

seeing so many people’s problems,

while others richly blessed.

As I walk along life’s road,

I know God is with  me,

as I see HIM working in so many ways,

so my friends let’s give HIM praise.

As I walk along life’s road,

and see and rejoice with others,

when they choose to walk with me

down this strait and narrow road,

and we pray you will walk it too!

JUST LOOKING

70 PLUS WINT!

I stand,
I look into the woods,
from my study window,
thinking many thoughts,
thoughts that are good.

I see,
me when young,
walking woods trails,
laughing and having fun.

I see,
me crying,
when Grandpa died,
and exercising,
with my dog,
by my side.

I see,
me married,
walking hand in hand,
with my dear wife,
a lady, lovely and grand.

I see me,
a few years later,
playing hide and seek,
with my children,
richly blessed,
by things that matter.

I see me now,
old and grey,
unable to work,
unable to play.

I see me,
richly blessed,
able to praise God,
and talk with Him,
making my request.
