MY OBSERVATIONS!

– May 16, 2026

 The wind is blowing,

The limbs rush bye,

The fluffy white clouds,

Look like cotton balls,

Sprinkled all over the sky!

The May flowers are,

Starting to bloom,

Along the driveway,

The yellow daffodils,

Grow on my lawn, Sadly,

Soon they will be gone.

The robins sing its Spring, its Spring!

God speaks in the breeze,

And whispers through the pines,

I’m here, I’m here for you,

All the time, all the time!

Mother’s Day!

I think about mothers,

how over the years,

provide for their children,

with joy and with tears.

I see mothers,

down on their knees,

with prayerful hearts,

asking for guidance,

and provide family needs.

I see them standing,

over hot steaming pots,

preparing good food,

and thanking God,

for what they got.

I see mothers,

having a need,

they get out the Bible,

their King James,

they would read,

then they would kneel,

and they would pray,

get up rejoicing,

with a song in their heart,

and renewed in spirit,

their work they would start.

SOUNDS
I love the sound, of the morning dove,
when he calls his mate in love;
I love the sound, of the distant loon,
as he sings his mournful tune;
I love the sound, of the gentle breeze,
as it moves and rustles the leaves;
I love the sound, of the falling rain,
as it strikes against the window pane;
I love the sound, of the babbling brook’
as I sit and dangle my hook;
I love the sound, of the lullaby,
as the mother soothes her child’s cry.
I love the sound, all creation gives,
and shouts the news, our creator lives;
I love the sound, of God’s Holy word,
and the great message it gives to be heard,
salvation and great hope for the lost,
comes from God at great cost.
If this great truth they believe,
eternal life they shall receive.
There is a sound, I am waiting for,
the sound of a great shout,
and a trumpets blare,
when the Saints will meet,
Christ in the air;
We will be ushered to Heaven above,
because of His amazing grace and eternal love.

THE STREAM!

There is a crooked stream,
running quiet and still,
just half a mile,
over that hill.
One day last fall,
there was a big rain,
that old stream was raging,
a rage no man could tame.
It roared and rushed,
took houses and land,
where ever it went,
it obeyed no command.
Sometimes our life,
is like that stream,
all peaceful and calm,
then comes trials,
that explode like a bomb.
We have a place,
where we can go,
to our Heavenly Father,
who by His loving hand,
soothes and calms,
that raging stream,
with one command,
it obeys His will,
as He speaks,
Peace be still.

EARLY MORN!

 DAY BREAK
What a beautiful morning,
the sun is shining bright,
it makes my heart sing,
as it removes the darkness,
and reveals it’s marvelous light.
The bright reflection on the water,
shines so brightly in my eyes,
and in the pines, a lonesome dove,
makes it’s lonely cry, but off to the right,
I hear a robin sing,
cheer up, cheer up, it is spring!

Scripture Reading!

At this time every year we celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus the Christ who brought salvation to sinful mankind when they believed in Him. This reading is about the crucifiction about 2000 years ago.

²⁶ And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.

²⁷ And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.

NOT THE BEST

Not the best, not the worst,

not the sour, not the sweet,

not the hand, not the feet;

yes, it’s not the first, not the last,

not the slow, not the fast,

not the short, not the tall;

But, it’s the words, words we speak,

the words we sing, from our heart,

words of love, words loud and clear,

words of truth, everyday, every year.

Words like I love you;

Like God is near, God is our Father,

God is the Son and God the Spirit,

God the Three in one;

Through the Spirit, these words proclaim,

Jesus’s death on that cruel cross,

His burial in a burrowed tomb,

and His resurrection the third day,

giving Eternal life to those who hear,

and those who believe!
