EXPLORING GOD’s word71[lesson 2]

TOPIC: Rewards of the Saints.

*Rewards also prepared by Christ—- John 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

*We are rewarded for our service for Christ—-Col.3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

*We are not rewarded for our merit!—–Romans 4:4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

*OUR REWARDS ARE DESCRIBED AS:

*Being with Christ.—–Romans 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: [ Col.3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.][ Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.].

*Beholding the Face of God—–Psalms 17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. [Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.][Rev.22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.].

EXPLORING GOD’S WORD 71 [LESSON 1]

100_7158 (2)

HI MY FRIENDS, TODAY WE ARE STARTING A NEW TOPIC, THE TOPIC OF REWARDS.

REWARDS OF THE SAINTS:

*OUR REWARD COMES FROM GOD!—– ROM.2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:   COL.3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.  HEB.11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

*REWARDS ARE OF GRACE THROUGH FAITH ALONE.—– ROMANS 44 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness:    4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all. ROMANS 11: And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work

*REWARDS ARE GIVEN BY GOD’S GOOD PLEASURE!——MATTHEW 20:14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?   LUKE 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

*REWARDS ARE PREPARED BY GOD THE FATHER!——HEBREWS 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

CLOUDS

Wint68's Blog

THE CLOUDS
Our lives are like the clouds,
little vapors in the sky,
we hang around awhile,
then we say goodbye.
Our lives are like the clouds,
sometimes all fluffy and white,
some times we have our trials,
like the black clouds at night.
Our lives are like the clouds,
being driven by the wind,
sometimes we are tossed to and fro,
as we fall into sin.
Our lives are like the clouds,
that are controlled by God’s hand,
when we put our trust in Him,
He will guide us across this land.
Our lives are like the clouds,
all beautiful and bright,
floating around the sun,
as it sets at night.
Our lives are like the clouds,
little vapors in the sky,
we hang around awhile,
then we say goodbye.

EXPLORING GOD’S WORD 70 [ lesson 4 ]

100_7158 (2)

TOPIC: Who receives blessings from God?  Today we are looking at Scriptures on who receives God’s blessings. Open your Bible to the following verse and read the wonderful words. I am using the King James Version.

1/Isaiah 30 :18 tells us that those who wait for the Lord will be blessed! Isaiah 30:18 And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

2/ God blesses those who find strength in the Lord!   Psalms 84:Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

3/ The Bible tells us in Matthew 5:6 that those who hunger and thirst after righteousness will be blessed.   Matthew 5:Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

4/ Psalms 65:4—- Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.  Psalms 84:Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. These verses tell us those who visit the house of God and seek His presence will receive a blessing!

5/ Blessed are they who avoid the wicked!  Psalms 1:Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

6/ Blessed are they that endure temptation! —-James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

7/ We read in Revelation 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

8/ Blessed are they that watch for the Lord! —- Luke 12:37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
