I thought it would be interesting to see what the BIBLE refers Saints to. In the next few writings we are going to search the Scriptures to see what they compare us Saints with.
Matthew 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. —We are compared to the sun!
Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. — We are compared to the stars.
Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. — We are compared to light and are the light of this world, so lets shine opur light in this dark world.
Psalms 125: 1.They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever. We are compared to mountains like mount Zion and are to stand tall and rugged for our Lord!
